Comparative Study of Typical Models for the Value Realization of Wetland Ecological Products at Home and Abroad

The value realization of wetland ecological products constitutes the crucial part of ecological civilization. On the basis of clarifying the concept and pedigree of wetland ecological products, the typical modes of realizing the value of wetland ecological products mainly include ecological compensation mode, ecological tourism mode, national wetland park franchise mode, and carbon sink trading mode. Through a comparative analysis utilizing differentiated dimensional frameworks tailored to each model, it is pointed out that the value realization of wetland ecological products is faced with problems such as imperfect property rights system, rigid governance structure, and incomplete trading system. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, policy suggestions are put forward to promote value realization efficiency of wetland ecological products in China.
