Abstract: Culture is not only the spirit and soul of a nation, but also the great power for the development of a country and the rejuvenation of a nation. As the main part of ecological culture, forest culture plays a significant role of guiding and encouraging on the construction of ecological civilization. To understand the cultural function of forest is the basic requirement to make forest plays it role thoroughly. Forest has many functions, such as increasing aesthetic scenery, exciting emotion, expanding knowledge, enlightening wisdom, bearing history, showing geography characteristics, cultivating spirit, maintaining healthy, etc.
