Cultural Ecosystem and Its Instruction in Higher Education in China: A Case Study of English Tour- Interpreting

  • 摘要: 人类文明正从农业文明、工业文明走向生态文明。文化生态与环境生态一体共生,高校教育应当契和时代要 求,开发更多的文化生态课程。结合笔者讲授的文化生态课程北京英语导游,在文化生态学视角下,从土地 的故事、爱国主义、中国特色新型城镇化道路、文化创新、民族文化身份、永远的高校文化生态教育等方面,探讨与 时俱进的高校文化生态教育。

     

    Abstract: Human civilization is now heading for the eco- civilization after the previous agricultural and industrial civilizations. In response to the cultural ecosystem which is concurrent with the overall ecosystem, higher education institutions in China should teach more relevant courses to keep up with the times. Adopting the perspective of cultural ecology and studying the course of English Tour- Interpreting, the paper discusses how we can update the instruction of cultural ecosystem in higher education in China from the following aspects: the story of the land, patriotism, the new urbanization road with Chinese characteristics, cultural innovation, cultural identity of the nation, and the everlasting instruction of cultural ecosystem in higher education.
