Abstract: This paper chooses four first-grade indicators, namely, port and logistics efficiency, customs and border management, institutional environment, and financial and e-commerce, as well as twenty second-grade indicators to construct a trade facilitation evaluation system and calculate the level of trade facilitation between China and ASEAN. We analyze the influence of ASEAN trade facilitation on the export of Chinese wood forest products by using the gravity model of trade. The results show that China's GDP and population, and communication barriers between citizens have positive impacts on trade volume, while ASEAN population and exchange rate have negative impacts on trade. The level of trade facilitation can improve the export of Chinese wood forest products. In order to promote the export of wood forest products, it is necessary to further enhance the level of trade facilitation of ASEAN, especially to speed up the development of finance and e-commerce.
