Abstract: People in Huizhou area have created abundant forest culture with characteristics of local culture in the process of using and cultivating forest resources. From the viewpoint of material culture, system culture, and spiritual culture, this paper summarizes the forest culture in this area, and believes that the main causes of formation of forest culture in the area are the rich forest resources, the constraints of natural environment，the prosperity of Huizhou merchants，the active participation of Huizhou patriarchal clan and the nurturing influence of local culture in Huizhou.
