Textual Research on Two Tree Planting Steles in Peking University
There are two tree planting steles on tree planting poem in the side of Weiminghu lake in Peking University. One was set up in Qing dynasty by the Emperor Qianlong(乾隆) in year of Ding Wei(丁未) (1788), and the other one by classes of Education Department of Yenching University in 1922. This paper carries out the textual research on the two steles.
