Ecological Thought in Southwest Ethnic Minorities' Forestry Proverbs

  • Forestry proverbs are a summary of people's experience in dealing with relationship between forest and man for thousands of years. The abundant forestry proverbs inherited in southwest ethnic minorities are the thoughts quintessence that people use and realize forest. The eco-logic of using forest- protecting forest-using forest implicated in it, and symbiosis of forest and people is the core idea of southwest ethnic minorities'forestry proverbs. A study on their forestry proverbs is of guiding significance for solving ecological problems in dealing with forest.
