Abstract:
The capitalist production system, which regards surplus value as its sole purpose, and the mode of productivity development under the logic of capital, have caused a global ecological environmental crisis and produced environmental injustice. New quality productive forces inherit the theory of productivity in Marxism and has a profound green characteristic and ecological implication, which are highly consistent with environmental justice in the ecological Marxist perspective in terms of theoretical foundation, fundamental goal, and value pursuit. New quality productive forces break away from traditional modes of economic growth and development of productivity. Starting from the justice of needs, production justice, technological justice, and institutional justice, new quality productive forces promote sustainable development by means of green clean energy, green low-carbon industries, green technological innovation, and green low-carbon mechanisms, and contribute to the realization of environmental justice. New quality productive forces empower environmental justice, which are conducive to the formation of a global ecological community, the establishment of a new global ecological order, and the joint pursuit of global ecological civilization, thus promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
