Abstracts:Ecological civilization forms the foundation for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. Fostering a sense of community for the Chinese nation must necessarily be predicated on strengthening ecological solidarity. The comparative advantage of the ecological dimension in cultivating this sense of community manifests in characteristics such as the objectivity of natural connections, the spontaneity of ecological mobilization, the public nature of benefit distribution, the extensibility of spatiotemporal narratives, and the inclusiveness of integrative functions. Simultaneously, throughout their history of intermingling and coexistence, various ethnic groups have achieved convergence in ecological cultures, mutual embedding of living patterns, and coordination in ecological governance, laying the value, emotional, and practical foundations for nurturing a sense of community. Ecological design for cultivating the Chinese national community consciousness can proceed by promoting ecological cultural values, deepening the interweaving of production and daily life, improving ecological collaboration systems, and expanding the scope of ecological civilization. This aims to solidify the value foundation, strengthen emotional bonds, enhance institutional safeguards, and demonstrate China's responsibility, thereby providing a practical pathway for cultivating the Chinese national community consciousness from the inside out.
