Abstract: The new quality productive forces are essentially green productive forces, imbued with rich implications of ecological philosophy, and provide theoretical support and practical guidance for achieving green development. The ecological dimension of the new quality productive forces is rooted in the wisdom of traditional Chinese ecological philosophy, inherited from Marxist ecological philosophy, and derived from the ecological philosophical perspectives of successive generations of Chinese Communists, thus possessing a profound philosophical foundation. The new quality productive forces emphasize an ecological historical perspective focused on the green transformation of productive forces and production relations, prioritize a green development outlook that harmonizes economic growth with ecological conservation, and uphold the ecological values of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, thereby highlighting the distinctive ecological philosophical connotations of our times. The methodological requirements of the ecological philosophy underlying the new quality productive forces include achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and nature by adhering to a systemic approach, leading green transformations through innovative thinking, and enhancing the ecological well-being of the people by implementing the mass line.
