Abstract: Xi Jinping's important expositions on the new energy system represent the latest achievements in the Sinicization and modernization of Marxist theory on the relationship between productive forces and nature, forming a theoretically coherent and richly connoted whole. From the perspective of generative logic, these expositions are the product of the convergence of three driving forces: theoretical continuity, historical evolution, and contemporary necessity. The fundamental viewpoints of classical Marxist authors on the relationship between productive forces and nature provide the theoretical starting point; the transformation in China's energy development stages constitutes the historical condition; and the new challenges to energy security in the context of century-long changes form the practical impetus. In terms of core essence, these expositions revolve around the central proposition of "making the new power system the key hub" , first establishing, from a strategic height, the positioning of energy security as a matter of national importance, then clarifying the essential characteristics of the new power system, which is dominated by renewable energy and operates through the coordinated interplay of "source-grid-load-storage" , and finally revealing the systemic reconstruction of the energy system operation logic centered on the new power system.
