Research on Coupling Mechanism Community and Scenic Spot in a Historical Village: A Case Study of Hougou of Yuci in Shanxi Province

  • With the rapidly developing tourism of historical villages, some problems such as contradiction complicating and villages hollowing out emerge in the game process of village community development and tourism development, therefore the interactive relationship between the tourism development of the scenic-spot historical village and community life of the villagers living become the focus of attention. The article will construct an integrated coupled system between Community and Scenic Spotin historical village based on the thought of system theory, then explore the coupling mechanism of Community and Scenic Spotof scenic-spot historical village in the same geographic space range while taking Hougou of Yuci, Shanxi Province as an example. Regarding social functions, tourism weakened the functions of community, therefore reduced the attractions of scenic spot, thus it is necessary to design and develop the scenic spot according to coupling feature of community resources and tourism functions, and so that is satisfied the different demands of residents, tourists, and tourism enterprises. On the management, due to constraints from community residents, the functions of the scenic spot has not been so completed yet, the concept of co-management community should be introduced, i. e. , really forming the coordinated management pattern of tourism enterprise-resident-village committee.
