Abstract
Ecological Imperialism is the hegemonic and exclusionary discourse system, institutional design and dominant power constructed by developed capitalist countries in the field of global ecology and environment by virtue of their political, economic and military power and at the level of policy issues and theoretical discourse. Marxist Ecology, represented by the classical Marxism and the eco-Marxism, has strongly criticized the generative roots and exploitative logic of ecological imperialism. Nowadays, eco-imperialist countries dominate international "carbon politics", and "the China's environmental threat theory" is a new variant of their strategy to suppress China. The concept of a community with a shared future for mankind put forward by Xi Jinping is an important guideline for dissolving ecological imperialism and seeking the construction of global ecological civilization, reshaping the concept of global governance of "extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits", thus realizing the transcendence of Ecological Imperialism.
