Research Progress and Development Direction of the Discourse System of Xi Jinping's Ecological Civilization Thought

Studying Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought from the perspective of the discourse system has become a hot topic in the academic community. Marked by the evolution of keywords, the related research has roughly gone through three stages: preparative accumulation, rapid development and deepening expansion. In terms of the basic elements of the discourse system, the research shows the coordinated advancement of basic concepts, identifying concepts and new propositions; in terms of the construction logic, it shows the organic unity of historical logic, theoretical logic and practical logic, as well as a fit between the logic of essence and utility and the integration of the two; in terms of the main characteristics of the discourse system, the research shows the unity of timeliness and historicity in discourse generation, the unity of scientificity and value in discourse connotation, the unity of principle and flexibility in discourse expression, and the unity of temporality and spatiality in discourse vision. The research on the dimensions of the discourse system deepens people's understanding of the essence and law of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought and provides theoretical support for the enrichment and development of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought. To further enhance the comprehensiveness, logical coherence and mass communication of the discourse system of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, relevant research still needs to further empower new energies in the depth of symbiosis between critical discourse, constructive discourse, and innovative discourse, unfold new phenomena in the coupling and synergistic effectiveness of theoretical discourse, practical discourse, and institutional discourse, and gather new forces in the resonant strength of political discourse, academic discourse, and popular discourse.
