  • Northeast region,a frontier area in the Tang Dynasty,appeared in women-complaint poems many times in this period. There are unique aesthetic connotations in nearly 70 pieces of women-complaint poems about frontier fortress related with the northeast images. Not only the sentimental language, but also the vivid and moving woman images reveal the human nature and express the emotional world of women. In winter of Tianbao,Eleventh year (752),LI Bai(701—762) had been to You State (around today’s Hebei and Liaoning provinces)and experienced frontier fortress personally. This experience makes his women complaint poems more affective and influencing.
