  • Developing plantation is an effective way to resolve the difficulties of timber supplement in the international market. This paper studies the management models of plantation in several countries, and summarizes common characteristics of its management, i.e. marketization of management conditions, enterprise management, management model of integration of forest and industry, and positive policy environment. Finally, proposals to develop plantation in China are suggested.
