  • Suburban shelter forest is considered an important part of urban shelter forest. Management of suburban shelter forest has great significance on building the whole urban forest system. On the basis of the current situation, this paper integrates the landscape design with the planning of suburban shelter forest, illustrates the planning framework of suburban shelter forest in Xukou Town in some aspects, such as planning conception and methods which can be applied to different types of suburban shelter forest, and provides planning measures.
