Abstract: Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization is an important part of Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, which contains rich political implications. The political implications of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought is mainly embodied in four dimensions: political direction, political power, political appeal and political thinking. Wu propose that socialism with Chinese characteristics is the distinct political direction of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, that the leadership of the Communist Party is the highest political force of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, and that national ecological security is the fundamental political appeal of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought. Bottom-line thinking is the prominent political thinking of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought.
