Abstract:
Studies of Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy began in the 1990s. After the 18th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, it has entered the innovative development stage of social practice. At present, there is a demand and trend to carry out systematic and constructive academic research. Through studies in varying conceptual categories such as “exploration and interpretation of ecological philosophy in Marx and Engels' classic texts”, “deconstruction and innovation of ecological philosophy of Marx and Engels' classical theory”, “sinicization and modernization of Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy” and “tracing study and judgment on the study of Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy abroad”, this article provides a necessary ideological basis for global environmental governance and ecological civilization construction. However, facing the challenges of various social thoughts and the needs of green development, Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy needs to be studied in three aspects: firstly, research on the definition and innovation of conceptual categories based on the distinction between concept and reality; secondly, a systematic and penetrating theoretical study based on the “differentiation of source and source”; and thirdly, a study of Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy from a global perspective. There are also four ways to strengthen and develop it: firstly, strengthening the depth and breadth of text interpretation by “Rereading Marx”; secondly, strengthening the systematic study of Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy; thirdly, expanding and deepening the research of Marx and Engels' ecological philosophy abroad; and fourthly, adhering to problem orientation.
