Abstract:
Delimitation and marking of boundaries are the primary tasks in the construction of marine parks. This process serves as the core foundation for the standardized and efficient management of marine parks, while also providing a legal basis for law enforcement within these parks. However, issues such as the lack of unified standards in demarcating maritime boundaries, the risk of damage to maritime boundary buoys, unsatisfying effectiveness in controlling and marking maritime boundary buoys, the need for standardization in demarcating and marking coastal boundaries, and the difficulty in demarcating and marking boundaries for land plots on islands, all pose significant limitations to traditional boundary delimitation and marking techniques for maritime areas. This paper explores and investigates how to standardize the delimitation and marking of maritime boundaries and conduct scientific demarcation and marking of land boundaries. It proposes solutions and recommendations, using technologies such as offshore electronic fencing for maritime boundary marking and digital information technology to enhance the efficiency of protected area boundary management. Taking the Zhongjieshan Archipelago National Marine Park in Zhejiang Province as an example, the paper presents specific solutions and suggestions. The findings can serve as a reference for the delimitation and marking work in marine parks in China, contributing to the enhancement of the country's overall level of digital management for marine parks.
