Abstract: Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization is an important component of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. From the perspective of "green footprint", this paper systematically analyzes the practical exploration of Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization from the spatiotemporal dimension, and further explains the practical value of Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization. Research shows that the "green footprint" of the forming of Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization has the practical value of maintaining ecological authenticity and integrity, promoting high-quality protection of natural elements, advancing the construction of beautiful homes in cities, promoting the construction of harmonious countryside, accelerating the industrial green and low-carbon transformation, and planning the strategic deployment in major regions.
