Abstract:
Small and micro wetlands are an important component of urban ecosystems, playing a crucial role in regulating hydrologic process, modulating microclimates, maintaining biodiversity, and providing cultural services. As Beijing enters a new stage of high-quality construction of blue-green ecological spaces, promoting the optimized configuration of small and micro wetlands has become an important way to compensate for the deficiency of ecological background resources. This paper takes the central urban area of Beijing as the study area, comprehensively evaluates and extracts key natural variables affecting the suitable layout of small and micro wetlands using multi-source data and the GIS geographic information platform. It also exploratively introduces closely related humanistic variables, combining point of interest (POI) data, and uses the maximum entropy model (MaxEnt) to simulate and construct a suitable personality pattern for the high medium low potential layout of small and micro wetlands in the central urban area of Beijing. The results show that the potential layout suitability of small and micro wetlands in the northwest of Haidian District, the northern part of Shijingshan District, and the western and southern parts of Fengtai District is relatively high; Appropriate water area, proximity to rivers, lakes, and other water bodies, as well as natural vegetation coverage such as forests and grasslands, can significantly improve the potential layout suitability of small and micro wetlands. Last, this paper proposes differentiated development suggestions for different suitability zones, providing scientific evidence for integrating small and micro wetlands into the residential environment construction in Beijings.
