中国栀子审美文化探析
Aesthetic Culture of Gardenia Flower in China

摘要: 栀子是中国传统名花，经历了从实用功能到审美价值，再到象征意义的演进。这种演进是“层累”式的，而并非是“替换”式的。经过不断抉发、丰富，栀子最终完成了实用、审美、象征的功能整合。栀子从实用到象征、从民间到文人，从而成为一种“有意味的形式”，这也是中国文化中很多花卉的共同走向。揭明通过栀子的文化内涵可以从文化的角度认识民族文化心理。Abstract: As a traditional famous flower in China, Gardenia Flower witnessed its fame evolution from practical function to aesthetic value, and to symbolic meaning. This evolution is stratum accumulation but not replacement. Finally, the flower completed its function integration of practical, aesthetic and symbol by undergoing the choice and enrichment. From Chinese folk to literati, from practical function to the symbol,the Gardenia Flower becomes a kind of flower which having an abundant connotation.This is the common trend of many flowers in Chinese culture. By revealing the cultural meaning of Gardenia Flower, we can realize the national cultural psychology from the viewpoint of culture.
