Humanized Design on Residential Community Garden: Taking Beijing Langqinyuan Community for Example

  • The improvement of design quality of residential community garden is the basis of promoting residential environment and living quality. Humanized design is an important aspect of residential community garden. This paper analyzes the connotation and principles of humanized design on residential community garden. Taking Beijing Langqinyuan Community in Xicheng District for example, the author gives a clear explanation of the humanized design concept applying to the residential community garden from angles of road net, waterscape, public space construction, leisure facilities, lighting and identification, and planting. Meanwhile, the express way of humanized design is discussed.
