  • With the development of industrial society and sharp increase of population, the need for animals is expanding. The problems of animal breed, animal abuse, food safety, environment damage follow at the same time. In the 20th century, western moral reflection made the living conditions of animal being focused, vegetarianism acquired much attention. From views of philosophy and environmental protection, this paper discusses the positive significance of advocating vegetarianism and vegetarian.
