  • This paper is a research review on forest carbon sequestration. First, the paper summarizes the concept, characteristics, estimation of forest carbon sequestration. Secondly, it illustrates the characteristics, types and status of forest carbon sequestration market, and analyzes compositions of the market and relative encouraging policies. Finally, the paper prospects the development of forest carbon sequestration and its market in China in aspects of research objects, research methods and research context.
