  • This paper selects the regional competitiveness as research object, establishes seven indices i.e. the gross output value of forestry, forest area, forest reserves, stateinvestment for forestry, professional technical personnel, labor productive and the employed in forestry to make an empirical analysis on provincial forestry industry competitiveness in China. Research shows that there are big differences among provinces in forestry industry competitiveness. This study can provide basis for local governments to formutate suitable policies in froestry industry.
