Reflections on the Urban Ecological Landscape Design of Beijing from the Perspective of Context to Place

Beijing is a city with a long history and cultural heritage, and it is transforming from " a local society” to " a civil society”. As the process of urbanization accelerates, the ecological outlook and cultural outlook of the city have undergone tremendous changes. People’s sense of identity and sense of belonging to the rapidly developing Beijing are declining, and the current urban ecological landscape design of Beijing has been unable to meet the growing people’s demand for culture and aesthetics. " Context to place” provides people with a new perspective to explore the ecological, historical, artistic, and humanistic urban ecological landscape. Through the integration of traditional aesthetic thought of " artistic conception”, we try to resolve social anxiety, so that people can regain the humanistic feelings rooted in their hearts, and increase people’s sense of acquisition. In this paper, we explore the development path of how to turn Beijing into a green, beautiful and humanistic eco-city in the new era.
